Working in conjunction with British polling member and award-winning strategic insight agency Opinium, we’ve commissioned a survey across 250 SME companies covering the UK – including sole traders as well as larger companies – to understand how their business is performing and if they benefit from their financial data.
The results were surprising, with statistics including:
💡41% of SME’s are considering a sale, exit or refinancing in the next 12 months, compared to the previous 12 months
💡45% are happy with the access to meaningful financial data… BUT…
💡64% DON’T use a finance system and only 22% have a KPI report management system
💡40% Believe their ‘gut feeling’ on business performance contradicts their data
